All of us are going to die. It’s a fundamental, tragic, romantic part of what it is to be human. But the services that should be supporting us haven’t changed in decades.

From writing your will to planning a funeral, the way we deal with death is formal, complicated and expensive. Instead of feeling supported, people feel lost.

But it doesn’t need to be this way. We started Farewill to make the experience warmer, brighter and friendlier.

We’re the UK’s biggest will writer and one of the leading funeral companies in the country. Our generous customers have pledged over £970 million to charities, through donations left in their wills.

We’re backed by top investors who are as excited by our mission as we are, and we’ve won awards for the work we’ve done. But there’s a lot more to do.

The role
We’re looking for a smart, dynamic Sales Executive to join our growing Funeral Sales team. They will be the first point of contact for customers enquiring about prepaid funeral plans, helping to guide and support them in organising a cremation for themselves or their loved one. This is a newly launched product here at Farewill, making this an exciting time to join and make an indelible impact on a focal, growing part of our business.

We’re looking for someone who can be a caring and confident wealth of knowledge for our customers, helping them to understand our offering and make good decisions about what option is best for them. From there, this person will onboard those customers, and facilitate a smooth handover to our Funeral Operations team. Our ideal person will have high levels of empathy and integrity, as nothing is more critical than maintaining our customer-centricity, while still having great sales chops and the drive to hit (and exceed!) targets.

  • Your friends and family would describe you as a caring, helpful person with strong interpersonal skills, always looking out for others and finding ways to make things better
